Stump grinding services – from removal to lawn restoration
When a tree is removed and the stump remains above grade ‐ Grinding alone will not provide the desired result. Often times when a stump is ground the tree company specifies that the stump will be ground to a certain extent, for example six inches below grade.
The tree service provides their best effort, however…
- The mound of grindings prevents complete grinding of the entire stump to even 6” below grade because the tree company doesn’t have the capacity to move and handle the grindings effectively.
- Often the area is not completely ground leaving un‐ground portions of the stump at or above grade.
